हमारी कई बार ऐसी मनोस्थिति हो जाती है कि हमें अपने घर में ही वह प्रेम और शांति नहीं प्राप्त हो पाती है, जो घर के बाहर प्राप्त हो जाती है |कविता के माध्यम से इसी मनोभाव को प्रकट किया गया है…

Is it always important to think and do? Or is it important to just go ahead and do it? This poem compares to giants of history – Dharmraj- Yudhishthira and Mighty Arjuna.

देश प्रेम की हुंकार तो हम सब भरते हैं, किंतु हम धर्म, जाति मैं इतना बटे हुए हैं कि वास्तव में देश के प्रति अपने फर्ज़ नहीं निभाते | इसी बात पर कटाक्ष करते हुए प्रमोद तिवारी जी की यह कविता “समय बदलना होगा”, सोचने पर मजबूर कर देगी कि वास्तव में देश के प्रति हमारा क्या फर्ज़ है और हम देश के प्रति क्या कर सकते हैं
