 “Poyla Nombor” is a story of an educated man who didn’t give any time recognizing wife’s wants and needs thinking her life is centered around his. And each time his guess about the concept of his wive’s thought process was proved wrong since he didn’t give a try and spend any time to understand her.

कहानी में प्रयागराज में लगे कुंभ मेले का दृश्य है जहां दूर-दूर से लाखों की संख्या में लोग अपने पाप को धोने के लिए संगम में डुबकी लगाने आते हैं। क्या मात्र डुबकी लगाकर पाप से मुक्त हुआ जा सकता है ?क्या वास्तव में अध्यात्म को भी एक पेशे की दृष्टि से अपनाया जाता है? आस्था ,परंपरा इन सब बातों का अद्भुत संगम है इस कहानी में। इसी बात को रोचक ढंग से आधार बनाकर ममता कालिया ने कहानी मेला का ताना-बाना बुना है,जिसे शेफ़ाली कपूर ने उतने ही अनोखे अंदाज़ से अपनी आवाज़ से निखारा है।
