After returning from jail he figured out the fact that time flew by then and the little girl is not little anymore. He felt lost and depressed thinking that he will have the same experience with his own little daughter and it would be hard to connect with her following the same reason.

 “Taraprasanner Kirti” is a story of the frustration and failure of an author after he has invested everything after it.

The story shows how the groom side of the family used to take upperhand in every area during a marriage settlement and the social custom like dowry issue sometimes goes to such extent that leads to death, exploitation and mental torture. In this occasion the bride ultimately died as a result of this social customary evil. 

Two neighbors were very competitive and jealous about each other. They were not content about what they had, thinking, must be others are having better than them. The story portrays the moral, how the jealousy takes away all the peace of mind and destroys the contentment and happiness of mind in general.
