Jyoti Upreti Sati Singer/Composer/musician/writer She has done his graduation from science and with the motivation of his family and teachers she did Sangeet Visharad from Renowned music institute Bhattkhande She holds Masters degree in Hindi and Music Her passion for singing started from adolescent age and has participated in various cultural and stage shows. She has represented Uttarakhand at Republic Day as the only folk singer in 2003. She has been honoured with various awards and recognitions. Presently she is working towards preservation of folk music and songs of Uttarakhand region along with spreading the knowledge of Bhagvadgeeta. In her journey she is equally supported by her younger Sister Dr Neerja Upreti who is a physiotherapist by profession. They both (Upreti Sisters) are famously known for their rendition of Bhagwad Geeta and spreading Their cultural heritage. In a very short time they have carved a niche for themselves and are very popular in Uttarakhand.
